Default Need advice/help

I have a fully bolted MS6 and am on my first draft e85 map from freektune. I did a 4th gear log and put it into virtual dyno (cf 1.09) and im only getting around 268-270hp/330 tq. thats seems pretty low for bolted e85...i understand lots of drivetrain loss but still. So i just got done doing a compression test 177/177/176/175. shouldnt i be just a little higher in hp?

What's your E85 mixture ratio?

I can say that with an almost fully-bolted (no exhaust mani) MS6, I was able to get to around 290/335 on pump gas at relatively low temperatures.

270/330 isn't bad for the MS6, but I suspect you'll end up above that once you're fully tuned. A first revision from freektune is going to be a relatively safe place to start, and it won't be indicative of the full power you're likely to be able to achieve.

I wouldn't have even bothered putting a first draft into Vdyno. It will be in no way indicative of the final result.

I read up on the redline si-1 treatment. taking of the HPFP and cleaning it with si-1 every now and then doesnt take much time at all.

Watch those o-rings, and you might want to consider going for some nitrided HPFP internals (Integrated Engineering sells some).

I just started using virtual dyno, and am only doing it for reference. but that is good to hear...i was really hoping to at least hit 300 whp.

No Idea, i'm late to the corn game. was under the impression (from research on here) that we don't yet have any upgraded injectors available yet.

tried doing another 4th gear pull after changing a plug..still on first draft of freektune full E85 tune....not too bad, i can accept this...can't wait to see what i the final revision will look like.
