Default Vdyno torque seems too high

I did this run on the 8th, getting on the highway by my house, seemed relatively flat. When I saw the torque number on VDYNO though I almost freaked out because that's a huge number for my mods and E30 flash tune.

Mods are in my sig, with addition of Tial QR as of a couple weeks ago. Log also included. Only error I think I made was I spaced out and started the log at 3200RPM.

Anything look weird in there? I can't spot a thing.

How's your clutch? When mine slipped I had vdyno's that were similar.

Didn't seem to be slipping, it still bites pretty hard for it being an original. I've tried stalling the car in 1st/2nd with the ebrake up and it will stall. So I'd assume its still good. Maybe if it's slipping its very minor and I can't notice because I gain speed pretty quickly, I can't see the RPM's jump and me not gain speed.

Anything else I can do to test it?

Graph your speed vs RPM plot and that'll show you if tires or clutch is slipping or not.

Sweet, I'll do another run. I forgot to log vehicle speed in this one.

Just open vdyno and click the graph icon in the lower right of the runs window. Click Vehicle speed and look for flat spots.

You might also want to plug the ambient temperature into Vdyno and do an SAE correction. I suspect that you'll see a substantial decrease, as 2/8/2016 in Rolling Meadows was probably in the mid 20ºF range, not 77ºF, as Vdyno assumes.

Yeah I tried, I didn't log speed in that run so I'll have to do it again. The option for vehicle speed isn't there.

Here's the graph according to the temperature/pressure on the day I took the log. I had to dig it up, but I found it. Seems a lot more reasonable.

I'd say tire spin. If you look at your RPMs they jump around a little around the torque peak.

Torque usually follows fairly good the calculated load curve (yours doesn't) and boost curve. That's why I would say a little tire spin
