Motegi MR116's/Firsestone FIREHAWKS!

First major change to my new 2004 MSM. Previous owner had wheels on it that I didn't care for, mostly because they were too dang hard to clean! Shopped around online for a few days and kept coming back to the Motegi MR116's. Picked them up along with a set of Firstone Firehawk Wide Oval Indy tires from tirerack.com

I'm pretty pleased with the result:

Alright, Cool Stuffs Tutorial:

Quality parts for a high performance car that is already loaded with them. Don't replace anything with lower quality than OE. Quality is determined solely by manufacturing processes, materials, and components.

If you came to this performance only oriented community expecting unanimous applause for poor decisions, you might have noticed people like me exist. I will tell you the honest truth, because you deserve to know better, you own a Mazdaspeed after all. The rest you asked about comes with tenure and experience, so in due time.

Well, just so you know, I have no intention of modding this car into oblivion. Not because I'm not interested in things of that nature, but because I bought this car knowing that I don't need to do much to it, especially since it's purpose is the weekend ride (which I clearly stated in my introductory post).

That you don't like my wheels or think that they are too heavy is of no consequence to me as far as how I think about MY car. I wasn't looking for applause, I was simply making a post in the appropriate forum section. I always join a car/motorcycle form relevant to whatever I have at the time to learn things about that particular vehicle. I also know the general nature of internet forums and the folks that populate them,some are helpful, some critical and some fall in between.

But, if all your going to do is trash talk, expect some back...in the end it's not really going to affect my life or yours.
