needs moar boost. Needs more flush front lip. Looks good, but the exposed bolts make it seem a little too all out race. Unless thats what you want it to look like. I just like the cleaner looks.

i have a carbon front lip that lookes like the oem one also but i cracked it. so i put that on until i buy a new oem lip from mazda. and i think im going to buy either rpf1's or 6ULs for it this summer for some stickies all the way around

Mod list?

What year is this miata? I'm a noob but would def like to pick one up as a DD in the near future so I can build my Evo. I'd be happy with just a nice stance since it would be a DD. Loving the stance and that trunk lid. Duckbill trunks ftw

Those are most definitely 16's... hence my functional comment. Those boat anchors have to weigh 17lbs+

A set of 15x8/9 @13lbs & some <200 treadwear tires would make this a formidable dual use track/street carver.

I just bought a new 12' MX-5 Miata "Retractable Hard Top" 6MT Grand Touring True red: Premium / suspension package. It's got: HID's, Premium audio with Sirius radio / blue tooth, leather interior, LSD, up graded suspension, etc.

It's such an amazingly good handling car and the power is good. It's obviously not as fast as the 08' MS3 I traded it in for but it doesn't feel under powered at all. It's nice being able to run it through the gears up to its 7200rpm redline (09' and up models) without having to constantly glance down at the speedo.

I had up to $45k to speed but the 12' MX-5 was more fun to drive than anything up to that price. I tried the Mustang GT, 370Z, FR-S (almost as good), Genesis coupe 2.0/3.8, BMW 128/135i and EVO X.

All quicker (FR-S about the same acceleration as MX-5) but none other than the FR-S/ EVO is nearly as fun / rewarding to drive. The EVO was a blast but considering it's ~ 10K more than the MX-5, the MPG horrendous and general operating cost much more expensive I couldn't justify. However, if you require 4 doors / AWD and don't mind the cost it's an amazing car.

But if you aren't obsessed with test track #'s / race your daily driver's for a living and can live with a 2-seater with limited room the 09' + MX-5 is about as good a driver's cars get. If your more concerned with 1/4 times you'd be better served with the Mustang.
