Well, Brian just traded that miata over the weekend. He now has a '87/'88 (sorry cant remember the year) Mazda rx-7 turbo2

nice miata I like that almoast rugged look it has with the lip. i always wish i could fit in one. they just look fun but ill settle with my ms3 for time being.

Looks nice man. BUT your teetering on the edge of herra flush. Keep it performance oriented. I am about to start ordering parts for the MSM. But I am starting with turbo stuff first. Suspension and wheels only after 250 whp, cuz i'm broke.

I don't think so. I mean if I had a base model miata it might be a different story. But i like the way the MSM looks. Granted 17's will slow it down a bit, but I just want to get it up there in power. I sold a cbr600rr for that miata, I NEED TEH FASTZ!!! Aside from that I have always been performance>aesthetics. Now before I build the motor and really make some power, obviously I will have a lot to do in that department. By that I mean getting the power to the ground lol.

You can pull 40-45whp out the car for relatively low cost, and then add suspension/tires. Something you should definitely do as you are still stuck with the lame ass open loop @ 5k. You aren't making any power until then, but proper bolt ons make a huge difference and those stock Bilsteins are definitely up to the task. The wheels/tires are not.

Well at least OP put the thread in the right section haha. Yeah that no power until 5k thing SUCKS!!! But once I order Lex's plug in play Megasquirt I am gonna get either a gt2871 or 2860, ewg, etc. Not sure If I wanna piece it together or just order one of the kits. I know it will be a bit more expensive to buy a kit, but may be worth it for piece of mind and cutting down on time. So in an effort not to buy any parts twice, I am trying to hold off on buying any bolt ons that will get replaced with larger stuff soon. It is hard not to buy a signal modifier and all that stuff lol.
