(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score ![]() This takes a LOT of time. I have managed to figure out how to make it take less. Take one of these Apply only medium pressure and low speed. It will get all the shit and most of the bumps off the surface. WEAR A FUCKING MASK --- WEAR A FUCKING FACE MASK --- PROTECT YOUR LUNGS!! Then Next step is a Palm sander. Use 220 Grit, 400 Grit, 800 Grit, 1500 Grit, then 2000 If you can get it. 800 - 2000 should be done in a sink with water running over the surface (WET SANDING) this will remove all the bits that are coming off that are trapped under the paper, because they are bigger than the grit, they will mar the surface and clog the paper. Your paper will last 10 times longer and the result will be awesome. Do not be afraid to do some parts by hand, do not let the sander hit the surface, it will Pitt and make more work for you. Work slowly, it will make this faster in the long run.. ![]() This and... You can mount the wheel on a Bench grinder or a 15,000 RPM angle grinder. I have done both, the angle grinder is more effective AND MORE DANGEROUS, THUS EXCITING. MAKE SURE THE PART IS SECURE ON A TABLE (Not Silly Clamps) The Polish is what makes it shine, not the wheel. With rubber gloves, apply the polish to the surface, do not bother to clean it off the hand, start buffing, when the polish is gone then apply more and buff, apply, buff. You will see it go from smooth to smooth and polished. After all that, grab some good quality paper towel and do a hand buff with the polish. DONE
