(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Here are a few somewhat recent photographs of my Hyperblack Motegi SP-10 wheels. ![]() ![]() The wheels are 18x8 +40 and in the photos at the bottom I am using the stock 215/45/18 Bridgestones. They seemed to work without rubbing at the time, but two weeks later, the wheels were stolen: ![]() ![]() After dealing with insurance, I got the car sent to a body shop on a flatbed to get the wheels replaced, and to fix any other damage that occurred during the theft: ![]() ![]() ![]() After all was said and done (which I am still having a slight wheel shake at 50-65 mph) I got the front bumper repainted, the side skirts repainted, the rear suspension rust protected, new wheels, new TPMS, and new tires (Sumitomo HTR ZIII 235/40/18). In the end the car looks better than it did before the wheels were stolen, but the tires are rubbing now, even with the fenders rolled. I am on stock suspension at the moment, so I will need to either pound flat that stupid area where the bumper meets the fender or dial in some negative camber. I would prefer to do the camber as it will help in handling. Hopefully it will not negatively impact tire wear too much. So thats my story. Here are the photos: MGM Speed3 with Hyperblack Motegi SP-10's. ![]() ![]() Last edited by VTEC_EATER; 07-08-2010 at 11:21 AM. |
