Hey everyone, my name is Chris and I'm one of the fabricators here at MAPerformance, along with a few others whose work you will also be seeing here in this thread. I've been a long time lurker outside of work in fabrication forums, and here on Srtforums as well, and we figured that we would let you guys see some of the awesome fab work we get to do that most people don't even know we do, and that most people will never even get to see! Plus, who doesn't like looking through new fab pic threads

Mods: I am in NO WAY using this thread for any kind of marketing purposes, or to generate sales. The purpose of this thread is simply to share our work, and add to this already awesome fabrication section

We'll start with some honda love This customer originally came to us for engine assembly. We spec'd out, and assembled a beautiful longblock for him, and he decided he wanted a turbo kit to match!
- V-band schedule 10 ramhorn manifold
- PTE 46mm external gate
- 3" pie-cut stainless downpipe
- Stainless dump tube









This next manifold was built for an Evo that we had originally set our stock evo ecu horsepower record with. The setup on this car, mated up to one of our 2.4L's yielded us 814hp, and 622hp at 41psi
- Custom top-mount schedule 10 T3 manifold
- Twin Tial MVS wastegates (a second one was added after the pictures were taken)
- Stainless 3" downpipe
- PTE 6765 turbo






I wish I had taken more pictures of this car, but unfortunately these are the only ones I managed to grab I was a bit skeptical at first about how a 3.5" aluminum exhaust would sound on an SRT-4, but surprisingly when we fired this car up it sounded amazing! The aluminum gave it a nice, deeper than normal tone. The exhaust features twin vibrant aluminum mufflers to keep the noise down a bit, about 1.5 feet of stainless 3" downpipe off of the turbo, and a whooooole lot of aluminum tube. When all was said and done, we shaved off close to 40 pounds with the new aluminum exhaust!

This downpipe is probably one of the more interesting looking ones that I've made in the past. This customer came to us looking to replace the 2.5" POS he had on his turbo miata with a custom 3" piece. We grabbed an un-divided flanged for his t-28 powered beast and went to work

Just a small update for now. We've been busy banging out a ton of product orders lately, but there's always something pretty cool going on. We are currently putting the finishing touches on the black twin turbo viper truck, and as well, should have plenty of updates this week, so I'll keep it short..... Enjoy!

Those welds are really, really nice. I think more aftermarket companies need to take that type of pride in their work.

More importantly, I have to ask...what about an intake manifold for our engines? and if so, would it be a one-by-one deal, or would MAP ever be interested in possibly doing a limited run of them?

We have ported option at this time we have not had enough demand to do a sheet metal. Maybe we can do some sort of group buy. Who is interested in a sheet metal intake mani?

Intake manifolds for the MZR DISI are one of the biggest pieces of the puzzle that we don't yet have. We can't realistically expect to have a high performance solution if our intake flow is being held back so much. Currently our options are:

1) Stock
2) P&P stock
3) Make your own intake mani

A fourth option, a quality aftermarket IM, would be pretty popular I think. If you were to open a thread to gauge interest, I think you might be surprised at the feedback.

Yea i would snap on a intake manifold in a heartbeat. I want a full replacement not a ported stocker.

What about some type of T3/twin scroll exhaust manifold for the MZR.

There is some out there but only 1 company that would be the same quality as you and they are totally different manifolds. (Steedspeed) Give us some Ex Mani loving!

There is no tubular manifolds that are out for the MZR that are as top notch as MAP could make.
