MAP is proud to introduce our Rev3 version of the Mazda 3/6 intake manifolds! This is unlike any other portwork offered for the platform. We start off removing the shutter valves and bar are removed for improved airflow capabilities, and as our dyno testing showed, it suffered no loss in the low and mid range! We then fully port both the runners and plenum, cut open the plenum and reshape for improved airflow, then weld everything back up.

We always test our manifolds before and after porting to ensure we are focused in the right areas. As it turns out, this manifold yielded some of the most impressive gains out of any of the manifolds we have done. The flow results show an improvement of 103CFM flow capacity, and an overall imbalance improvement from over 25% variance down to only 5.8%! See the flow chart for the data.
