08 MS3 vs GT2876r SR20 240sx

I don't really run my car too hard but I had some fun this weekend on the way to a meet. My mod list is in my sig and I am only running like 14lbs due to not having any internals. He has a red top sr/fmic/tubular/gt2876r/dp/exhaust/tune. He was running 10lbs but has since turned it up to 14 and wants a rematch.

1st run - 45ish, I pulled a good 4 cars by the top of 4th and was still pulling.

2nd run - 60mph - I pulled half a car before I had to shift, then started to run the train again I got a good 3 cars out before I let out.

These were just 3rd/4th gear pulls for me. His car dynoed at 273hp to the rear wheels.

Are you custom tuned? I wouldnt think you could beat a 240 making 273whp while ur using a ots map.

I've had my share of SR cars but they were t25/t28 cars. I just texted him, he said he makes the 273 @14lbs not the 10lbs we raced at so he wants a rematch with him on more boost. I'll make sure to grab a video next though, from what you guys are saying I'm sure to lose.

yeah this story is weak. Power to weight alone says you get owned by a 240sx making even 275.

Yes I am an authority on the subject since I had a cammed big turbo sr20 240 hatch.

You may be able to get a bunch more out of your stock HPFP if you zero the VVT table.

Yea, I'm keeping this current tune until my internals are installed and then letting @Spirry go crazy with it

We can pull the vvt and bump boost on up there (still in the testing stages). But if your internals will be here shortly, it can wait.
