Camaro vs. Genpu

On my way home tonight, car is running like a champ, a cool front blew in and brought tons of dense cold air. Pull up at a light next to a brand new Camaro RS (still wearing paper tags) with fucking ugly Foose wheels on it. Homey with his girlfriend in the car, stares me down. Uh...okay.

I'm watching the cross light, light goes yellow, I bring up the revs, I hear him start revving the shit out of his V6. Beautifully, it's 10:45 and NO traffic anywhere in sight. Light goes green, I launch, spin in first, spin into second, have a full car length on him. He is all over it trying to go, he got a clean launch with no wheel spin, but he ain't got no powa, by the time I hit third he is a bus length back. I shut it down in 3rd (60 in a 45 is about my limit).

We are coming to the highway entrance, I stop at a red, him behind me, to get on the freeway. He follows me down the onramp, dogging me the whole way. We get on the highway, freeway is completely empty. I get in the center lane, he is in the right lane. We are rolling at 50, I am in third, no honk off, he just punches it and jumps a car on me. I hammer it, reel him in instantly, hit fourth, put a car, then two cars, go to fifth, four cars, six, he is giving it all it's got. I shut it down at 100 with a dozen cars on him. He does a ricer flyby at about a buck twenty. I don't think his girlfriend was impressed.

tl;dr - Brand new 2013 Camaro RS got his ass beat twice by a stock Genpu. Once from a dig, once from a roll.

I was looking them up. 323 horsepower from the V6 in the 2012+ models...but 0-60 is 6.4 seconds. Holy SHIT that thing is slow...no wonder I beat his ass from a dig no problem, it wasn't even a contest.

Yep, an 2005+ Toyota Avalon will do 0 to 60 in about that time too. I wonder how he'd feel if grandpa kept right as his door?
