Hey....
Everytime I pull up next to an Sri or mustang gt they seem to never be interested in a run. I know I can at least hang with these guys if not better. I got an evo to mess around a little bit yesterday. We took off at a light and were barking tires changing gears and it would have been a good race, but we came up on a cop who had someone pulled over so it obviously ended. Glad the cop already had somebody!!

My mods on my 08 ms3 are injen cai, turbo xs downpipe/racepipe, hypertech, and cx racing fmic. I was just wondering if any of you guys have similar mode and also what kind of cars you have spanked on the road. Really interested in what the ms3 can do against Sti, evo, srt-4, mustangs, camaros, trans- ams, 350zs..... hell, anything really....

I can't wait to hear some good stories and it would be awesome to see some video of some cars getting burned by a little ms3!

OP: Several things will help you out in garnering additional street action.

1. Get a blow-off valve. A loud one. Other performance car drivers can't resist racing someone with a BOV.

2. Look for cars driven by old men, like me. We're always looking to prove our skills versus the younger crowd. Mid-life crises...

3. Ask around for where the local street races occur, and show up. These will be actual staged events, with a starter, cameras, etc. These are especially fun when the cops show up to regulate events and keep everyone safe. You'll know that's happening when you see the flashing cherries and berries...just pull up to one and say, "Hey, bacon, is this where the mad street racers are?"

4. If none of that works, use stickers. They not only gain you horsepower, but they also make people know you're a serious performance car driver, ready for any street challenge. Your race challenges will rise for every sticker you put on the car. Ones that work really well includ, "NOS," "TEIN," "TurboNetics," and anything with Chinese or Japanese characters.

5. Shave your head and pretend to be Vin Diesel.
