Bump.

Shoot me an email or pm for special pricing on these.

sidekick 03-28-2014 09:46 AM

I thought the stage 2 was discontinued? What is the difference between the S2 and S3? The description is almost exactly the same between the two.

BNR told us that they are bringing the Stage 2 back into production. That said, you make a good point. I shot them an email to figure out what the differences are. As soon as I hear back, I'll post and update here.

RPM 03-28-2014 10:13 AM

It looks like we had just copy/pasted the description wrong. I've updated the product descriptions, but to answer your question, the BNR stage 2 has the same CHRA as the stage 1, but the compressor housing is upgraded. This housing easily flows 10% more volume as the stock compressor housing. All oil and water lines are bolt up, compressor housing is upgraded and also an upgraded wastegate actuator is fabricated to the turbocharger. The Stage 3 adds the GT2871 compressor wheel.

Dimenus 03-28-2014 10:51 AM

We do have acces to the OE studs and nuts that I would think would fit in this turbo.

smoogs12 03-28-2014 05:48 PM

These are going pretty fast.

Once this first batch is gone, those that haven't ordered will have to wait on the second batch.

Just a heads up.

Yep, you guys need to establish the identity of masters of the bundle.

Already done the AP + internals, Intake + battery tray...

Now you need:

RMM/PMM/TMM

SSB/SSP/Shift Knob

DP/CBE

FMIC piping / core / JgamB Pu grill insert :popworm:

hatchedspeed3 03-31-2014 09:43 PM

Should have my S3v2 ordered Wednesday night. That's Pat!

lol.. What is a "JgamB Pu grill insert"? Please enlighten us! haha

JgamB 03-31-2014 11:12 PM

The Pu grill insert is a 70% complete project I'm working on with a thinner upper cross member and two hourglass vertical supports with an octagonal mesh grill. Hopefully finished before ENM.

The premise is optimizing flow to a FMIC and getting rid of the super smile.

Ah, cool! Well keep us up-to-date on it. Would love to see pictures!

RPM 04-01-2014 11:22 AM

I'll be contacting everyone individually, but I wanted to post it publicly here, too...

We just heard from BNR that production is going slower than expected and that it will probably be another 3 weeks or so before they'll be able to ship us our turbos. They may be able to get some out to us earlier, and if they do, they'll go to our customers who have already ordered and are waiting. Regardless, we will continue to work with them in an effort to get your products out to you as soon as possible!

If you paid via credit card, we will NOT charge your card until the order actually ships. If you paid via PayPal, they've already transferred the funds, but we can provide you with a refund at any time if you need to use those funds for other things. Just let us know!

hatchedspeed3 04-01-2014 11:24 AM

Great customer service once again. Good shit guys, and thanks for the heads up

kaprikorn 04-01-2014 10:41 PM

Very Interested!

2.0t03speed 04-02-2014 06:58 AM

Ordered =) there is proabably only 1 or 2 left now. better get your order in people. <3 you @smoogs12;

smoogs12 04-02-2014 07:18 AM

From what I understand, we might be able to get a few more. However 10 was all we were guaranteed.

RPM 04-02-2014 01:55 PM

We just received some clarification that will be added to our website, but we wanted to post it here so everyone would know...

The S2 and S3 turbos have a 2.5" inlet, rather than the 2.165" inlet that the stock turbo has, so you will need a different TIP or TIP coupler for proper fitment, dpending upon what you're currently using. The only other "mod" that's necessary is that you have to relocate the boost control solenoid.

BNR offers replacement turbo studs if you want to do that while you're doing the install. They are $25. We will be adding this as an option on our website. If you have already purchased and want these added to your order, please get in contact with us!

also will you guys be adding the new coolant line option?

S3 inlet is 2.44 or 2.46, I can't remember exactly. Bryan told me that himself as I was picking my turbo up at his shop.

Also note that I had to dremel out 1 layer of the silicone in my JBR 3" to 2.25" widepath to get it on, as stated in the big beener thread.

Really? thats interesting. i swear i've talked to people that have installed ones with the new compressor housing's and said the inlet was the same.

I don't think it has changed, which is why you can still find old threads of people using dental picks, lube, screwdrivers, and putty knives to shoehorn the sumbitches on.

specvspeedfreak 04-02-2014 03:44 PM

I need a 3.5 to 2.5 coupler. I found this Reducer 3 5" 2 5" Blue Silicone Coupler Hi Performance 5 Ply Hose | eBay for a fair price.

Stock is actually like 2.165". You can round that up or down. BNR had used 2.25" in the past, but the new S2/S3 housing is 2.46".

BNR said it comes with the coolant line.
