Revolution Performance Motorsports Revolution Performance Manufacturing (RPM) was started by three Mazda 6 enthusiasts in early 2004 under a simple premise: to develop and manufacture new products for the Mazda 6 at an affordable price. We began to realize our purpose with the short throw shifter and gas hood lifter kits for that vehicle. Since then, we have added many new aftermarket products from well-known manufacturers and continue to expand to offer products for other vehicles with the goal of having the best prices and customer service on the 'net.

For those of you getting the S2/S3 that have silicone turbo inlet pipes, you'll need to replace it since you can't just buy a new coupler for the turbo side like those with hard inlet pipes. The best solution we've found so far is the HTP 2.5" or 3.0" TIP with a 2.5" coupler, which would be a direct replacement, allowing you to keep whatever intake you're using.

Or, you could go with a full 3.0" (or larger) HTP intake system with a 2.5" coupler, but, since the BNR pushes the intake to the right a bit, you would need to either relocate your ECU (if you keep the stock battery tray), or go with the HTP+tray combo.

We're hosting a GB (ends in less than a week) for the HTP intakes and combos, so you might consider jumping on that if this is your plan!
GB: HTP BIG Intake + Small Battery Tray + Stratified S-OTS PLUS Tune!

To the right? Does that mean pushes it out... Do you know by how much? I wonder if my 3.5 will be able to fit with stock tray. I was thinking maybe shortening the intake (the end that goes to the turbo) and creating a slot in the battery try to give me just enough room for the intake. Now I am not sure if that will even work.

Yeah, it pushes it out by like 3/8". Apparently there were issues with the 3.0", so it would be even worse with the 3.5". If you made some modifications, it might work, but it's tough to speculate.

I'm on the corksport hardpip TIP. I believe it is 2.25. Looks like i'll have to get a 2.5 to 2.25 coupler to get it to fit. The only thing that sucks is that the tip at 2.25 was already hard enough to squeeze past the ecu and all the other junk. I wonder how it'll look now with the BNR moving it even closer. smh.

It's not really that bad - it's more of a pivoting on the axis kind of thing, with the fulcrum being just past the typical mounting stud toward the front of the vehicle. Unless you've got some oversized BPV, there should be room for the assembly to pivot the filter end a few degrees inboard and not lose much at all near the ECU harness.

Yeah, made some modifications and it opened up very lil space then fell back into original spot lol. Not sure if I should get the CS battery box (it might not even work but if it does I get to use the stock battery), or HTP/JBR tray.

Can you PM a price I can't refuse on a JBR or HTP tray?lol
Also any word on the BNR and my order? order #136347

I hope this doesn't turn into a "2 weeks" dilemma @smoogs12;

I can tell you where you stand on the list if anyone who is curious would like to pm myself or @RPM; with your order number.

I was told first five should go out this week and the second five the week after that.

The delay is on BNR's end. We are as anxious as you guys are.

First orders are starting to ship! BNR isn't giving me a good estimate for the remaining orders, though. Apparently some items they need are stuck in customs, so I won't know more until that is resolved. We were hoping the remaining orders would ship next week, but it's looking like that may not happen.

Cool. I got an email update.

This means you guys still need to receive the turbo then re-ship it to me?

No, it's shipping direct from BNR.

No, we are still waiting on the S3. I think BNR might have a Stage 1 available.

So I just want to make sure that everyone is aware of the WGA issues that these turbos are experiencing at the moment.

I saw a few of you that ordered from us had posted in the thread that I am about to link. But for those of you that are not aware I urge you to give it a read.

Ordered mine a few days ago! Thanks @smoogs12; for the awesome deal and thanks @RPM; for stepping up your game in the Speed community!

Like an hour after I placed my order I got a call from them to tell me my turbo would take probably a few weeks to be made, while I had already figured as much it was very appreciated to see them reach out to the customer like that. Definitely going to order through RPM in the future.
