Revolution Performance Motorsports Revolution Performance Manufacturing (RPM) was started by three Mazda 6 enthusiasts in early 2004 under a simple premise: to develop and manufacture new products for the Mazda 6 at an affordable price. We began to realize our purpose with the short throw shifter and gas hood lifter kits for that vehicle. Since then, we have added many new aftermarket products from well-known manufacturers and continue to expand to offer products for other vehicles with the goal of having the best prices and customer service on the 'net.

Well, I heard they cleared customs, so BNR was just waiting to receive them. If all goes well, they should start production this coming week and start shipping end of the week or the following week. Once Bryan gives me more info, I'll pass it along.

If you have the JBR 3.5 WP all silicone intake with stock size inlet, yes it will work on the beaner. It's a tight fit but does work.

Its going to be pretty tight and possibly a PITA to get it over the S3 housing.

Stock comp inlet is something like 2.16". S3 is 2.25". So It'll be a stretch, but it can be done.

Edit: 2.25 is actually the previous generation of s3. Current is ~2.5".

Just measured the k04 comp inlet with a caliper and it came out to 2.169". It will be a tight fit for sure.

Yep sorry that was my mistake. I was thinking of the previous version.

In that case I am pretty doubtful that a current s3 will work with an intake designed for the k04.

Yes, the new S2 and S3 are 2.46", so none of the silicone TIPs will work. You will need something like the HTP TIP/intake with a 2.5" silicone coupler.

Not quite. I have the JBR 3" Widepath full silicone shoehorned on the S3 V2. I did remove 1 layer of material inside the intake to give it a slight bevel, but even without doing that we've managed to shove a CS Stg2 onto the new Beener as well.

If my bunghole put up this much of a fight in a prison shower I'd be proud of it, but it can be successfully installed.

Yessir - and the good news is after a few heat cycles, it's much easier going in and out. And the intake fits better also.

Not exactly the same but I have a 3.5 WP and ended up using the coupler that I used on the K04. Fit is much better than a 2.5 inlet. 2.5 coupler was actually too big.

Do you have the silicone version or the metal one?

He's speaking on behalf of the 3.5 alum wheel peen. I believe it uses a standard coupler.

What is the current wait time for the the s3? Also are all the s3 v2 corrected from the issue that it's been having since it came out?

All issues have been resolved with the wastegate actuator.

Perhaps the correct answer is that it depends on the specific TIP, then. The K04 has a 2.16" inlet, so if the TIP is 2.25" (as I think some of them are), then it may be able to be shoehorned on the new 2.46" inlet, albeit with persistence or modification. If it's 2.0", it would obviously require a lot more work, if it works at all.

I suppose it all boils down to how much work you're willing to do.

On a side note, BNR did get the parts he's been waiting for in, so some turbos may start shipping next week to those who ordered months ago if he can get them done. He said all of our current orders should ship out of the current batch, but it still could be a few weeks on some of the orders placed more recently, as it will take some time to work through production on all of the units.

To make a long story short, if you've already ordered, it shouldn't be too much longer. If you haven't, you should get your order in now if you'd like to have your turbo sooner than later, even though it will still take some time.

In the end, we will end up stocking these, but not until after all of our orders and BNR's orders have been fulfilled, which will probably take at least another couple months.

This batch will be the from the same initial batch with the wga problem. BNR has personally modified all of them so there wont be anymore seizing flappers. Everyone should see the "in house" welding around the flapper arm hole. Also, all will be 1 port wga. The next batch will come with correct specs and double checked by BNR before shipment.

Just FYI, a ton of our orders shipped on Friday and we've still got more in the queue!

BNR has all the parts they need to make the turbos, but they're currently working through backorders. If you're in the market, get your order in now to ensure you get in on the next batch! BNR expects to be caught up in a few weeks, so any orders placed now are expected to ship at that time.

And once again, if you're looking for a better price, please contact us!

We shipped all of our stock, but we're ordering more and we can still get them shipped direct from BNR in 1-2 business days in the mean time!

All extended backorders have shipped. We have a couple orders from last week that will be going out this week and we will have several turbos in stock as soon as BNR finished them up.

If you've been holding off, now is the time to order! I'm not sure how long these will last.
