Revolution Performance Motorsports Revolution Performance Manufacturing (RPM) was started by three Mazda 6 enthusiasts in early 2004 under a simple premise: to develop and manufacture new products for the Mazda 6 at an affordable price. We began to realize our purpose with the short throw shifter and gas hood lifter kits for that vehicle. Since then, we have added many new aftermarket products from well-known manufacturers and continue to expand to offer products for other vehicles with the goal of having the best prices and customer service on the 'net.

If the weird "stamping" has a GC in it that means they are GC custom spring rates. They have them on their website.

It feels really good actually, I'm gonna put it back on the alignment rack in a couple weeks again to get the specs to where I want them. I have some noise from the rear when going over bumps, thinking it might be the corksport camber arms but I will check it out tomorrow. It could very well be the ground control kit in the rear since there is no rubber isolator piece between the spring and the upper adjustment plate, so it's metal to metal there

So, I got my shipment yesterday. I have a Q:
Anyone with genjuan who got theirs, did GC include instructions for 2010+?

The instructions basically say to remove the bushing/bearings from the top hat leaving only the top hat and the rubber part on the top hat, and the aluminum spring upper perch and the plastic bushing on top of that go straight onto the rubber portion of the top hat, eliminating the bearings. Is this correct? This is the only way I could get it to fit.

I only did the fronts but the improvement is so massive it's taking extra load from the stock rears, lol. However, I do get a clunk on some bumps, though I'm more suspicious that it's my stock front swaybar endlinks more than anything related to the GC's.
@RPM; or anyone else, any thoughts?

Package came EXTREMELY well packaged, suspension components wrapped very nicely. I got photos of the fronts before install, let me upload them.........

Suspension is the same on the Gen2's so it shouldn't matter (well besides the mounting bolt for the rear shocks). The way you attached the upper perch is how I envisioned it working. I'll hopefully get mine installed this Friday and give them a go at autocross on Saturday.

Definitely stiffer but feels SO much better overall. Firm but supple I guess you could say.

Thats correct. There was some discussion of that earlier on in this thread too. It should be spring-->GC perch-->GC bearing-->stock top plate.

I'm really interested to what has to be said about the high rear rates and whos running an aftermarket RSB.

I'm running aftermarket sways front and rear. I'm going to try to get the rears on tonight depending on how easily the stock lug studs pop out and the new extended ones go in.

I wish I knew what my front spring rates were.

I didn't get a spanner wrench either. Atleast I don't think I did, I only took out 1 front and 1 rear kit.

I got a spanner. They're in there. The rear springs are SO much shorter than stock, I had to lower the car slowly and line the spring up so it would slide over the upper perch.

Took a quick spin around the block. Haven't really adjusted the ride height yet, but man, the ride is so much more taut. I don't want to say stiff because it's not stiff/rough, but firm, controlled.

Was your spanner bubble wrapped in with one of the springs or struts, or separately in the box? I pulled everything out of the box and no wrench. If you're was packed inside he bubble wrap of the kits I'll pull each piece out tomorrow and check there. Was hoping to keep them protected till install lol.

I just unwrapped all of mine and still didn't find a wrench. Maybe only the genjuans got them.

So, this isn't a GC issue, but I'm not at all impressed with how the rear struts are "adjusted". Seems gimmicky.........press the strut down into the body and twist one direction or the other? Really?

Yeah its a pain in the ass, I've considered selling my swift/koni set up for a coilover kit eventually.

Yeah, it's a little annoying. I usually just leave the rears on the stiffer side.

I think I'll pull 'em tomorrow at home and stiffen 'em up a bit. I'm not sold on how they stiffen cuz it seems like there's no "stop" at either end.

If you have them compressed all the way there is a stop. Should be about 2.5 full turns.

You did? I didn't send any out. Maybe it was something else?

Just FYI, GC is still moving slow on this, but I'm about to escalate the issue above my sales rep because I don't feel like GC has been very straightforward with us and that's not fair to you guys.

You press the shocks down and rotate it. It will stop at some point when moving to firm or soft. The end of the shock that bolts onto the top hat has to be held with a bench vice or vice grip so it doesn't rotate when you adjust them. I'm having a similar issue with my swift/koni set up. For awhile it was fine, but over harsh bumps I have noticed the rear becoming unsettled now that I have stickier rubber. I really don't want to soften mine anymore because I think it'll be too soft.

Edit: You could be talking about how they are adjusted by GC, in that case just ignore me D:

Goddamnit… I saw the email and instantly thought “Hooray for sex! Coilovers for me!” and didn’t even think about what I had just ordered as I ordered a few things from a few places… Another example of keying before thinking… I’m an idiot… Sorry. I’m going back to my corner now.

man. I'm sure it's just shitty 275 in st. Petersburg, but it feels like I've got some bounce going on with some of these weird dips and stuff.

gonna tighten up the rear shocks tomorrow, but I wonder if it's oversprung/underdamped? hmm. almost feels like maybe brief porpoising

Oh and I'm clanks up front on like normal little bumps. OEM sway endlinks possible? Since I hz aftermarket swaybar

GC told us 3 kits would ship today. I know it take them 45 mins to an hour to do each kit, but I'm going to continue to press them to get 2-3 out each day. I don't think that's too much to ask. Wish me luck!
