RPM is as much a customer in this GB as everyone else is. Im sure that its no less frustrating to Donny to keep getting wishy-washy dates from GC.

One GC only kit has shipped. Five full kits will be shipping today/Monday. The remaining KONIs will arrive at GC on Thursday of next week. Once they show up, they'll continue down the list.

There is one exception. California orders will be delayed. Due to a stupid California law, orders shipped from any company in CA to any customer in CA require that sales tax be paid ($57). In order to avoid this, we will have to have GC ship the CA kits to us, then we'll have to ship them back to CA. Yes, this is stupid, but it's the only way to avoid the tax. If you live in CA and don't want to wait for that, we can have GC ship direct to you if you're willing to cover $35 of the tax.

As of right now, GC is skipping over CA orders, even in the top 5, due to this. I'm trying to contact CA guys who are in the top 5 to see if they're willing to pay the $35 to avoid delays.

Man people are getting antsy. It's a group buy that had no set set ship dates. You wanted to save money by not buying right away so deal with a bit of a delay. Its completely reasonable that RPM is waiting on GC who is also waiting on Koni, jeeze give um a reasonable time to custom make ur shit.

They were just passing along the info they got from KONI, just like I was passing along the info I got from them. Apparently, now they have the tracking, which is where they got Thursday from, so I don't really expect any more delays.

I don't mean this against you. I know it's all in GC's hands and you've run a great GB now, even extending it to keep the awesome deal going.

Just to make it clear fellas, @RPM; has been doing a fantastic job with this group buy as you call can tell, and he's hamstrung by GC's slow movement.

Final update for today:

All of the following will ship either today or Monday. All of these kits are assembled. They're just in the process of modifying the KONIs, which they say takes about 45 minutes for each set. Some will definitely make it out today, but if they run out of time, they'll finish up on Monday and ship the rest. I'm using the initials from the shipping address for privacy:

Since this was extended till tuesday I should have my order in by then. After much thought I can't justify spending 1500 on the MS coils when I am not extremely dedicated to this car (Sorry fwd sucks rwd is better). For the ~$150 more bucks this is a much better deal since you can corner balance. 60k on stock dampers and the thing rides like a 80's buick haha

GC told us last week that they'll be receiving their KONIs on Thursday, so everything should ship late this week or early next week. Once they get them, they'll have to modify them and kit them. Since you just ordered, you'll be at the bottom of the list, but I don't think it will be over 2 weeks.

Do you guys have concerns about the upper limit of the Koni Yellow.
According to Koni the limit is around 500ftlb or 9k.

I know that ground control is pairing them with Konis starting at this rate.
What is going to happen with the people that ordered a more aggressive set up?

GC has been working with KONI for years and is one of their largest distributors, so they have a lot of experience matching springs with KONIs. They also fully warranty the setup, so they aren't going to send you something that won't work.

Is there a dyno supplied to prove that the already aggressive OTS rebound damping will not exacerbate the ill effects of too much spring & too much rebound? Or is this a beta test the end user will have to experience for themselves, and take GC's word on?

OTS rebound damping? The rebound is fully adjustable, so if it's set properly, there will not be any ill effects. GC will be setting rebound appropriately for the springs they include, but it also be tweaked by the end user, if desired. As I mentioned, this is nothing new for GC. They've been offering this setup for years for a huge range of vehicles, so they have a lot of experience when it comes to matching the shocks and spring rates appropriately.

I am not talking about the adjustment that is available by a knob. I am talking about the amount of oil the valves can flow throughout the rebound/compression cycle. A knob does not entirely determine this. It works within a set parameter determined by the size, shape, & # of holes found in the internal components. The OTS rebound curve is too aggressive and will impede proper handling/lateral grip more so when there is too much spring involved. What is being changed to the valving or internal components to handle more spring than what Koni recommends for their OTS Yellow?

A twin tube damper is not black magic, so I am only asking if anything is being changed internally to run the spring rates GC is offering.
