Revolution Performance Motorsports Revolution Performance Manufacturing (RPM) was started by three Mazda 6 enthusiasts in early 2004 under a simple premise: to develop and manufacture new products for the Mazda 6 at an affordable price. We began to realize our purpose with the short throw shifter and gas hood lifter kits for that vehicle. Since then, we have added many new aftermarket products from well-known manufacturers and continue to expand to offer products for other vehicles with the goal of having the best prices and customer service on the 'net.

Treadstone Front Mount Intercooler Kit for Gen2 Mazdaspeed 3

Includes piping, TR8 intercooler, and crash bar.

JBR Piping and Crash Bar for Gen2 Mazdaspeed 3
JBR is set to release a brand new piping kit and crash bar for the Gen2 Mazdaspeed 3. The crash bar will be
steel with a tow hook in the stock location. The complete details on the piping have yet to be released,
but here are some teaser shots. We will update as soon as JBR has finalized the details.

CX Racing FMIC Piping (customized by RPM) for Mazdaspeed 3
The standard CX Racing kit has been customized by RPM to add a protective silicone sleeve for the pipe that
runs down in front of the engine, a longer 90-degree silicone hose for better fitment, a properly sized hose
clamp for the reducer hose, and to provide proper fitment with a Treadstone intercooler on Gen2. The kit is
available in multiple colors. The silicone hoses are available in black, blue and red/black (red straight hoses,
black curved hoses) and the piping can be powdercoated a number of colors at an additional cost.

RPM Treadstone TR8 Brackets for Gen1 Mazdaspeed 3
Includes two mounting brackets and necessary hardware to mount a Treadstone TR8 intercooler on a Gen1
Mazdaspeed 3. Also includes brackets to relocate the power steering lines.

RPM Treadstone TR6 Brackets for Gen2 Mazdaspeed 3
Includes two mounting brackets and necessary hardware to mount a Treadstone TR6 intercooler on a Gen2 Mazdaspeed 3.

We can include the MS6 CX Racing piping in this deal if people are interested, and of course you could get a Treadstone intercooler if you'd like, but we do not have mounting brackets for the MS6. As you probably know, installing a FMIC kit on the MS6 is no trivial task, but we'd be happy to help you get the parts you need if you're wanting to give it a go!

Any options bigger than the TR8? Either a TR8L or T1035?

No. The only mod needed to install the TR6 on Gen2 is to remove the air dams on each side of the radiator (behind the bumper) and cut excess off the undertray. See pics.

We can get whatever intercooler you want. It's just up to you to make it fit.

The TR8L is technically a bit larger than the TR8, but it's internal structure is less dense, so it's more suited for V6 applications, where boost pressure is kept low, with higher flow rates. The TR8 is the better option for this engine. The TR1035 is an option, but it may be a pain to fit. I'm not sure it would be worth the effort unless you're planning to go over 500hp. Totally up to you, though!

Woops! Just placed the order. No worries! How long do you think it will take and do you guys have a tr6 in stock or do you drop ship? Treadstone is back ordered on the tr6 and tr8 and I can't find anyone that actually carries stock of them.

Just saw you order. Brackets will ship next week and should just take 2 days to get to you.

We don't have TR6 in stock. Part of the reason for the length of the GB is to give them time to get everything back in stock.

Ahh.. I don't know much about the MS6 install except that it's a pain in the butt.

This is the best "guide" that I have found. It shows cutting the bumper for the TR8, but that wouldn't be needed for the TR6. Everything else regarding routing the piping would apply, though, including relocating the horns and cutting some stuff.

So you already have a TR8 installed without a crash bar and you need brackets? The TR6 brackets won't work as they are, because it would hang the TR8 lower than it needs to be. If others are in your situation, we can see about having the drawing modified to fit the TR8 on the Gen2.

Yes I have a tr8 with cxracing piping and UR crash bar. I'll be interested in some brackets for the tr8 as well as longer 90 degree couplers to meet the intercooler inlet because the original ones are too short

Okay. If we see some more interest in TR8 brackets for the Gen2, we'll see what we can do. As for the couplers, I don't think we can help you. The kit we are selling isn't the same one you're using. This one has metal piping that bends around to the front, so straight couplers are used. I could sell you one of these kits, but I can't just pull out individual pipes.

50% sure I'd be in, that might change to 100 once l finish paying off some debts soon.

Put me down for Treadstone Gen2 piping, Treadstone crash bar, and probably a tr10 core. Pretty pretty please!

They do not attach to the crash bar. They attach to the points where the air dams attach before you remove them. I'm planning to get a shot of them installed this weekend, but for now, here's a picture of the brackets and a picture of the stock air dams, so you can see where it would attach. There are two bolt holes on the other side of the air dam in the picture. You can't see them from this angle.

I'll put you down for the Treadstone Gen2 kit for now. I don't know if the TR1035 will mount to the crash bar, and even if it did, it would hang 2.7" farther down, which would probably cause some problems.

Added MS6 CX piping and TR1035 to list, so you can see the pricing.

Added some pictures to the 2nd post, including the Treadstone FMIC kit and the initial pictures of the RPM brackets. We are working on getting some good shots of our custom CX Racing kit, as well as some shots of the brackets with the hardware.
