question about your cxracing FMIC piping

what did you customize with this kit? I just emailed Cxracing about buying a full FMIC kit from them and they said they will sell it for 290 free shipping. Im just wondering what is different about yours because id like to use a tr8 IC.

CX Racing FMIC Piping (customized by RPM) for Mazdaspeed 3 #KIT-RPM-MAZDA3 - Revolution Performance Motorsports!

This kit has been customized by RPM to add a protective silicone sleeve for the pipe that runs down in front of the engine, a longer 90-degree silicone hose for better fitment, and a properly sized hose clamp for the reducer hose.

Yeah, you will want that RPM add on. Trust me. I have the protege garage v1...it rubs. Thankful CX-Racing copied it after 3 fitment revisions were made so it's not as bad as mine. I use JBR Tr8 brackets to mount it.

whoops went right over that, thanks. But i guess what I ment was if they had to do something "custom" to the piping kit to use a tr8 core. But im guessing not

I'm sure they can work with you to add a tr8 to that if you want, email/call and ask.

The piping itself for the Gen1 is the same. For the Gen2, the piping that CX Racing provides is not directly compatible with the TR8, whereas the kit we sell is.
