underrated vendor

i want to give a shout out to donny at RPM real quick. i needed some new lower control arm bushings for my ride. i decided to go with whiteline. i contacted RPM first and they made a tremendous offer on both sets. but he warned that one set was on backorder and it could take some time to get them.

so, i sent PMs to other vendors to check their availability. everyone told me the same thing: backorder.

all vendors responded quickly, but none responded quicker than RPM.

i ordered from RPM because no one beat the price he gave me. i've ordered from RPM previously and had a great experience then, as well. the same day i paid, my first half shipped. about 8 days later the second half shipped. and, donny didn't tell he did this, but i really suspect he called whilteline on my behalf and told them to get their act together and send him some parts.

i know everyone sweats edge on MSF, and MSF is a band wagon kind of group. and, i've bought from edge before and probably will again. but anyone who needs parts needs to check with RPM. chances are they'll surprise you.

plus, how many other vendors are doing real leg work on unique group buys like RPM? like the koni/ground control suspension group buy? or the current CX racing / treadstone group buy? none that i see.

All msf vendors are good to MSF Members, overall. Avoiding the shady Facebook group and Craigslist only sellers and going to the ones who really do something for the community is important to it's survival. I have heard nothing but good things of RPM.

Donny has always taken care of me and only on a rare occasion does another vendor beat his price but I never have a vendor beat his level of communication. For me that is extremely important and because the price is always really close I just continue to buy from Donny.
