ATR Won't Open After Installed

Okay, so I recently decided to install ATR because I need to do a MAF Cal. for the 3inch HTP intake. Anyways, I downloaded ATR, the latest firmware, and drivers for AP Manager. AP manager connects fine to the AP but when I go to open Access Tuner Race the program does nothing.. It doesnt even open up a new window. Nothing happens.. Are there any fixes for this? I tried to install the AP manager on my windows 7 computer but when I plug my AP in, it wont even connect. Not really sure what to do here, any help is greatly appreciated.

Computer details:
Window XP
32bit.

Also, would it be bad to install my intake without a tune? The MAF housing is larger than oem, (3inches). Can this harm the vehicle? I have been running cobb's safemode map for over a year now cause I was overboosting in the winter multiple times. I currently have the Sure full 3 areos on my car with the cobb safe mode+SUR2 91 v.231.ptm.

I had a lot of trouble getting ATR to install as well. What I ended up having to do was after I downloaded it I used 7zip file manager to extract the program. After that I installed the extracted version of ATR and it worked.

Here is my thread on it. Also if you google "ATR will not install there are plenty of people who have had the same issue and resolve it different ways.

Thanks for the info, I was on the cobb forums too and didnt find anything ! I will try the 7zip thing tomorrow and see if it works. all the symptoms are basically the same too.

I just want this to get done so I can do my custom tune through one of the vendors or an outside source within my state.
