Default app translation values question

I am trying to work on smoothing out some jerkiness in my OTS cp-n stage 1 (91) map. Seems other have had some luck with this by smoothing the app translation values for each gear. My question is, how do you get that many cells. Looking at my map on atr, i only count 20 cells for each gear. Toledospeed3's setting include 31 numbers, What am i missing on how to be able to input that many variables, or is this something that has changed in the program since this was posted?

I'm going to try this out & report back. I wanted to consolidate everything in one post for anyone who wants to try it out without going through all the posts and having to mix & match to put it together.

Well, this pretty much cleared up all my "issues" with the part throttle oddities I've had with the car since I bought it 8 months ago. I spent the first 2-3 months trying to figure out what the ecu was doing, because smooth up/down shifts were tough. This fixes the "bubble" as I thought of it, where about 20% into the throttle suddenly there's a bubble of power, and you have to just nudge into it for part throttle operation.

I'm going to guess this would help with gas mileage too, I often would see 95-99% wastegate duty cycle at 18-25% throttle which is ridiculous IMHO. Now the car properly responds as all the cable driven throttles I've driven over the past 15 years. It's actually possible to drive under the spool of the turbo now, I'm guessing the aim of the stock tables was to keep the turbo spooled under almost all conditions for lag/response issues most people that have never driven a turbo'd car might have.

The only downside is I have to un-learn the odd stock behavior, and get re-accustomed to proper throttle response.
