(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Hey all, Replacing my blown K04 with a BNR S4 at the end of this week, also installing a few supporting mods: CS 3.5 bar MAP sensor, 3.5" intake, 3" catless DP, and Grimmspeed 3-port EBCS. This car is my daily, and I want to get it back on the road as soon as possible. All I'm looking for is drivability, doesn't have to be a proper, dialed tune. I am under the age of 25 so the rental car I have right now is hella expensive and I'd like to have my car back. I've been looking for base maps but it seems I have to wait for a custom tune, something I absolutely can't wait for right now. I'm asking if anyone has a base tune to get the car running decent with the big turbo, that way I can at least drive the car while I wait for my custom tune to be emailed to me. Probably: ![]() But who knows it's a long shot. |

| That's not how AP maps work. They're VIN locked.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I know that, that’s why I said I’m not looking for a dialed tune, just something that will not ZZB my Speed. I have the Accesstuner, but I haven’t the slightest idea of what the WGDC should be and what else I would need to change. |

| That may be, but it still doesn't sound like you really understand the way the AP and ATR function. Because the maps (and ATR) are locked to a specific VIN and AP serial #, you won't even be able to view someone else's work in ATR.

That's why I was asking if there was a base map for our big turbo setups. I think what I'll do is set the WGDC to 0 and adjust the MAF and MAP sensors, that'll give me some time to drive drive while I wait for the custom tune. Should I grab a specific OTS or just adjust the Stage 0 map? | |

| Not Ranked : 0 score To get it driving, set WGDC to zero across the board. Look hard enough and you can find baseline MAFCAL's for your intake and settings for your MAP sensor. I want to say the S4 wastegate pressure is pre-set to around 17ish? You may be able to lengthen the actuator arm to run a lower baseline boost. Really depends on how much preload is already there. Minimum wastegate actuator preload is around 2 turns past seated. Meaning you tighten the adjuster until you just start to get resistance. That's when the wastegate flapper door makes contact when it closes. If the adjuster is threaded on 1 end, go 2 full turns tighter. If it's threaded on both ends, do 1 turn. The S4, even on lowish boost, will likely eclipse the stock tune load targets. At which point you would be relying on built-in safety measures that will try to close the throttle to limit boost. Worst case, you hit load cut, but factory setting for load cut are pretty high if I recall correctly.
