(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score This is my review of my experience. to start off i have had many etunes in the past with my 8th gen civic si. Via vit viper and some other big name tuning entities.. that being said lets start with right off the bat everything was great and smooth. transacton was solid and they have a cheaper price then the rest of then competion. Most of my etunes ive had before, would last a month at the very most with revisions coming in eveery two to three days. a week at the very most. I would get back very detailed emails expalining how my car is performing and even recieved grahps and pictures of my cars tables and they were personalized to show the key points. also included would be a revision almost each time I got a message reply. I would normally get about 7-10 before being done., which is right on par with what Dizzy is saying a full etune should be lenght wise. So here is the timeline: Aug 11th Got basemap Aug 23rd replyed with telling me i have a vac leak at idle and didnt send any revisions. Aug 29th Sent my logs Sep 3rd Said "Sorry for the delay, please send logs again please", no revisions Sep 9th Sent logs in Sep 15th Replied, "Everything looks good" with no revisions. "send more logs please" sep15th Sent logs Sep 20th Replied with revision # one. Said "logs look good, changes to boost and timing were made. Please send more logs." Sep 30th Sent logs Oct 7th "Still seeing leak again" no revisions. Nov 1st. Sent more logs in Nov 5th. "Still seeing leaks" no revisions Nov 5-6th E-mailed back and forth about how my other tunes i have don't have STFT action like his is showing, and thet I can't find any leaks anywhere to save my live!!! Asked if we can continue the tune. I'm getting tired of the process at this point. He claims he doesn't want to continue the tune at this point. Nov 16th Tells me to mix my methonal with water when using VPm5 . Dont think this is a good idea it doesnt mix with water correctly but this is besideds the point. Dec 18th Sent in more logs Radio silence............... Currently Jan 15th 2020, still nothing. So Aug 19-Jan 2020 we got one map edit. Been waiting since that day. with nothing but radio silence. Havent even said anthing more to him becaue I dont even have the damn car anymore its totalled. Thats is very disappointing that i had to wait inbetween emails like this. And sometimes a week or more just to get back a simple six word sentence with no changes or explination. So all that time went by and we got one map change from the basemap. And 150 bucks into something that i have absolutly notthing to show for it. A partial refund seems like a solid solution to me! ![]() that is vey annoying. and im not the type to put somone on blast, but this is not cool and im very unhappy with my service from Dizzy Tuning. Im leavin this review to give you guys a fair chance to see what my experience was with them and maybve you can make the right choice based on this experience. Excuse my grammar and punctuation phone keyboard +Fat fingers = djdndnjdnsudhdijsks |

| I've got to say, your experience with DizzyTuning doesn't sound particularly good, but you also haven't made yourself out to be much of a sympathetic character. To wit: in your only other posts on the forum, you stated that you went to a big-name auto parts store and bought whatever spark plugs they recommended (despite years and years of evidence showing that they don't have the correct parts listed in their books). Moreover, you apparently didn't even bother to see what plugs are called for in the car's manual, much less in performance-oriented forums such as this. Starting in 2011 or thereabouts, the factory manual specifically recommends Iridium plugs gapped to 0.024"-0.027" for all versions of this engine. In your other post, you were trying to use the AP's notoriously inaccurate (and basically worthless) timing and/or power measurement functions. Had you bothered to spend any time reading on pretty much any Mazda forum, this one included, you would not have been wasting your time (or ours). That having been said, the main thing I am taking away from your history on this forum is that you don't seem to have that much experience working on cars much less modifying them, despite your self-professed expertise. As a result, I'm inclined to take what you wrote above with a very large dose of skepticism. I'm not at all confident that you actually looked at everything in your engine bay that could've caused a vacuum leak. Without fixing whatever leak you have, Dizzy was well within its rights to say that they couldn't comfortably continue tuning your car. Tuning around a leak is always a bad plan. If I were them, I'd be telling you to pound sand. I wouldn't issue any refunds if I were them, and just because you totaled the car doesn't mean that they should feel sorry for you.
