Default High RPM KR

Hi I’m having an issue with high rpm knock retard I’m not sure what the issue is I’m currently being tuned by DizzyTuning and at first I was having a serious fuel cut issue at 5k rpm and that turned out to be my fuel pump internals were seized inside the pump so I order a brand new pump and brand new Autotech internals and swapped out the pump and fuel cut stopped.

Now my tuner is saying he’s seeing detonation up top which is hurting my power and also my boost is lower than he’s targeting (19.5psi) which could be due to a boost leak I recently installed XSPower turbo manifold and I checked it turned out 2 of the bolts were loose so I took them out put lock tight on them and tightened them they haven’t come loose again.

Anyways I have no idea what’s causing the problem I took some logs after I fixed the manifold on the latest revision from dizzy.

My mods are
Cobb AP V3
JBR Power Path Stage 1 Short Ram Intake
GPlus Silicone Turbo Inlet Pipe
Autotech Fuel Pump Internals
JBR 88 Durometer Rear Motor Mount
3” Manzo Catless Downpipe
3” Manzo Test Pipe
Resonator Delete
Exhaust Delete (Stock Piping Straight Pipe From Test Pipe Back)
Corksport FMIC
XSPower Exhaust Manifold
eBay TurboSmart Hybrid BOV (50/50)
JBR EGR Valve Delete Kit w/Block Off Plate
JBR Short Shift Plate
JBR Oil Restrictor Banjo Bolt
NGK 6510 (Step 1 Colder Plugs)
eBay Oil Filter Sandwich Plate (Oil Temp & Pressure Sensor)
NRG Oil Catch Can
Oil Temp & Pressure Gauge
Volt Gauge
Tein Street Advance Z Coilovers

Out of curiosity, have you had issues blowing the dipstick out at WOT?

Sometimes, persistent KR in the upper RPM range can be a bent rod if the KR is unresolved with less timing and/or higher octane fuel.. You can do a compression test. If they're all the same, you might be fine. If they are different, you may need to check piston height at TDC to see if one or more pistons are lower than the others.

No I’ve never blown out the dipstick but I’ll get a compression test done.

you may also check your vvt and timing chain if the compression is good

If you check for leaks and you didn't made a test under compressor pressure, you aren't done checking for leaks....
