| Not Ranked : 0 score Are you shifting from 2nd to 3rd on that log? It seems that way from your speed. Also, no reason to go to 6700 on stage1. This isn't a honda (judging from your avatar)

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score idk I think it was swas. I unplugged it and i havent had it happen since. I wonder what made the Swas so aggresive tho even on a straight line. Anybody have any insight?

| Not Ranked : 0 score You still need to answer my question to the original log. It looks like you were shifting from 2-3 and the area you highlighted is the exact time where you shifted, in which there would obviously be a fuel cut. And go ahead and ignore our advice and keep shifting a stock MS3 at 6700rpm, where you have absolutely no power.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I honestly cant remeber. But it was the SWAS. Its been unplugged and I havent had it do it since. maybe it going lean was me shifting. BUt it would rich out really bad and have no power whats so ever. I have no clue what made it get so aggresive with it dampening my power. Some times when not even on a curve. I understand on the shifting. I had a 400 hp civic that reved to 9000 rpm. head work ftw. I just keep forgeting to shift lower on this car. ive had it like 3 weeks give me a break.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Your car isn't going lean, its going rich post shift. When you shift, it will show the 29.xx...that is normal and happens no matter how you drive when you push the clutch in...after you shift though you are pig rich. Anytime you get into boost while making a turn, even a small turn or corner, the SWAS will kick in. It sucks. 6300 is more than enough rpms...Id shift around 6k myself.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I got the fuel injector cut when not on the gas. Is there any reason swas would get more and more agressive over time? Also is there anyone of tricking the sensor into thinking that the wheel was straight at all times? such as putting a resistor inline? any electrical engineers on here? seems plausible

| Not Ranked : 0 score stage 1 you say? did you change the map ? cause you are hitting 20 psi in one map and just under 20 in the second . running crazy rich and fuel pressure is in the 700 s . disconnect the battery plug in your swas put battery on and hope for the best , or get a code reader . dont be suprised if you fucked shit up with such low fuel pressure and running that kind of boost .

| Not Ranked : 0 score There is a fix for SWAS. Either you unplug it and dealing with the christmas tree lights. Wait for Cobb to disable it in their software. Or use a different tuning suite. I know the Piasini tune disables SWAS, but with Piasini you have zero control.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Changing the down pipe causes boost surges. If you have something to tune with, turn the boost down between 2.5k-5.5k rpm. Without pump internals, you are running out of fuel. And if you don't have an access port, you are hitting the load limit. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I dont know how i missed the FP going low all i have is an intake and cbe installed. What ever the swas BS it was puling is the cause of it for sure tho. I've never seen it drop that low and it is only doing it. When the swas is making it go super rich. IDK WTF it was doing but since ive had it unplugged havent had any problems. I have the tech Package so it is lighting up the Blind spot light and headlight turning thing. To the smart ass that says there is only two options of either unplugging it or getting a different tuner you are incorrect. I work for Halliburton and asked one of our electonic techs. he told me the sensor works of voltage the more you turn one way the more or less the voltage is. So like I said it would be possible to put a resistor or something of the sort to trick the ECU by keeping the voltage steady. SO you sir can suck it. BOOM!!!!! lol

| Not Ranked : 0 score Dude, rather than complain about your SWAS, get your car tuned. Cobb's stage 1 OTS map blows, and eventually its going to manifest itself as you blowing your engine if you don't get a custom tune soon. It's possible the only thing saving you from going boom IS your SWAS right now.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Im going back to Cobb next weekend for autotech internals and intake inlet and downpipe install. I was never planning on keeping the stage one. But I appreciate you sooo much for your vast variety of knowledge and putting it to use in my thread. As I am trying to come up with something that will help the entire community you feel the need to tell me to quit complaining about the problem. Thanks very much, I appreciate you.

| Not Ranked : 0 score So, that must have been you with the red genpu. I used to be the only one with an MS3 (silver 2011). I worked there as a mechanical engineer in wireline manufacturing until last month. Good riddance, lol. Now you are the lone genpu!
