Default Clutch Pedal Switch Not Engaging

I drive 2013 Speed3 with the Tech package. For the past week when I try to start the car it's acting as though the clutch pedal isn't pushed in although it is. If I manually go down to my clutch pedal and press the clutch switch and press the start button the car starts.

It appears as though the clutch is traveling 9/10 of the way but isn't traveling that last 1/10th of the way to fully engage the clutch pedal switch. I made sure the switch is fastened into its bracket correctly.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I don't know if we can adjust our clutch pedals or not or why this would happen. I haven't noticed any issues when driving. The clutch doesn't seem to be slipping or anything like that. Thank you in advance for the help.

Is the rubber bumper still on the pedal? They get brittle and break off and the switch is now 1/4" too short.
Google pedal bump stop.
