(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  EGR problem with no CEL? Sometimes my 2012 doesn't start as strongly as others. Cranks for a bit, starts very weak, but then eventually runs normally. Sounds like an EGR problem from what I've read but I've never gotten the P0401 code. Could it still be an EGR problem without it throwing a CEL?

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Yeah the battery is almost brand new and I replaced the plugs recently also. I've had the problem off and on for a couple years at this point. Car has never actually not started and it's never given me a CEL for it. When I first started noticing it I cleaned the MAF sensor, changed plugs, replaced the battery, none of it helped. It has been happening more and more over the last couple years.
