(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score P0016 - Crankshaft Position - Camshaft Position Correlation (Bank 1 Sensor A) I had my engine rebuilt by this mechanic and 5 months later and numerious tries, he still couldn't fix the p0016 code. He tried replacing the harmonic balancer, camshaft position sensor, adjust the timing with the proper tools that I supplied to him (he doesn't have his own), finally today he told me another story about the engine mount is triggering the camshaft position sensor because the engine moves around due to the worn out engine mount. Along the way, he broke 2 sensors, turbo inlet hose, camshaft relector ring. Now he's telling me to buy a set of motor mounts because he says that it has a design flaw in it. And claims this will fix my crankshaft position error. At this point, I don't know what to say anymore. I need your opinions, advice, experience, anything would help. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score So I went back to the mechanic with a letter of demand, and that I will sue him if he doesn't fix my car. problem solved, but I completely lost my trust in him, and now I fear that he might do something scandalous . |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I think if the guy knew what the problem is and knew how to fix it, he would of done it by now. Take your car some place else. |
