Default Pedal Adjustment for Heal/Toe??

I wanted to see if it was possible to adjust either the brake pedal or gas pedal. I have long legs and the seat doesn't go back far enough to heal/toe properly. Has anyone done this or know if it is possible.

Mazda3Forums had a guy who designed a revised gas pedal for that specific reason. Can't remember who sells it though.

Yea the gas pedal is down to far for me to do it correctly. If i have to go low-tech, i can always just put another pedal cover over the gas pedal to raise it up.

it was sok7 but i don't think he makes them anymore?

and since this seems to be a common problem:

heel
-noun
1. the back part of the human foot, below and behind the ankle.

heal
-verb (used with object)
1. to make healthy, whole, or sound; restore to health; free from ailment.

Just roll your foot sideways to blip the throttle. You can't actually heel-toe in this car. There isn't enough room to cock your foot sideways.

Place half of your right foot on the right edge of your brake pedal and then roll your foot while still keeping pressure on the brake. Although the gas pedal is lower, it still works perfectly.

Most of us on MSF use this technique. Practice, you'll get it. You don't need to modify your pedals, you need to modify your driving style.

Driver mod FTW!

do a side/side rather than heel toe. Works great.

I'll try the side to side method. I have big feet but i have not problem getting my foot sidewayz, its just the gas pedal is just too far back.

Ditto on the foot roll, I have pretty big feet and I've been able to do it quite easily, even when driving barefoot
