Default REVIEW UR DOWNPIPE & UR TESTPIPE

My Review on UR catted downpipe and UR test pipe

(Sorry guys, no pics….it was late and I just wanted to get it done and over it)

But over all the install went well, took 3.5 hours with a lift and air tools. The hardest part was removing the OEM downpipe, there are so many bolts holding the heat shield in place - removing the heat shields are important because you can’t see anything and they make it harder to remove the downpipe when in place. After getting it down, the weight saving is roughly 20 lbs (The stock stuff is HEAVY). One issue we did come across was the rear O2, it was crossed threaded from the factory and while removing it - it stripped. Being that it was late, there was no way I was able to obtain a new O2 so I manage to fix the threads on the 02 and luckily it screwed in great with no issues.

After all was bolted back up - started it up with a nice tone. The sound is like factory but louder. Being that I don’t want a loud car it sounds GREAT. Power….WOW, its like night and day. You feel it throughout the power band all the way up to red line. I would say, this would have to be the BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK compared to other mods in-with this price range.

I RECOMMAND this product 100%

NOTE1: being that my car only has 5K miles on it. The dp gasket was still in good shape and I was able to reuse it without having to purchase a new one. But for those of you who have more mileage, i would recommand buying a new gasket and BE CAREFUL with the O2 removal.

NOTE2: I will try to get you guys some pics and sound clips later today with my phone.

Next on the list....ETS TMIC. Already placed the order, its coming in by next week. I'm pretty excited about that. Easy to install, so most likely will install it the same day I get it.

What's your AFRs and EGT look like? Interested in seeing how this reacts on a 2nd gen. With all that you have going on, keep an eye on your fuel pump as you may want to upgrade it with you being nearly full-bolted.

According to his signature he's was fully bolted minus the DP. Next logical step I suppose. Although personally, I'd do a bigger TMIC before the DP. The DP makes me nervous as shit on the 2010, especially since we have no viable tuning option yet.

Let us know how it runs, I'm very curious. When I get curious, I spend money.

i have no way of actually reading AFR or ECT reading. I have been taking it easy (did a couple hard runs to see how the car react) but I'm not going to go nuts till the tune comes out. But I just admit the car feels AMAZING. You can really feel the gains from start to finish. It is truly the best bang for the buck at this moment.

The TMIC is already on order and should be here by next week. I ordered the ETS brand 3.25" intercooler.
