(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  Tip/Trick: Installing CP-E TMM - Removing the stud from the transmission. 1. If you want to do this right, save yourself the drama and buy a stud removal tool. 2. If you're me and you've been at this for over 30 minutes in your apartment parking lot, take a 7/16 socket, place it on top of the stud and whack it a few times with a hammer. Insert socket wrench and POP, came right loose. Downside, I don't think that socket is ever coming back off the stud.
