AP 1/4 Reality

Vdyno seems to have gained respect here on the forum. How about using the AP for 1/4 mile times and speeds? I've started practicing my launches using the AP, but wondered how the trap speeds etc compared to actual strip numbers

You will not be able to launch even remotely close on the street the way you would at the strip. My AP tells me I pull 15+ sec quarters which is far from truth

i would imagine those are more accurate than the dyno feature, but it probably still sucks. i run a 500 hp monster according to the ap.

Lol don't get me started on that...occasionally it is close to my vdyno typically it is more like a ferrari on nitrous. Feels so good to make 480ftlb tq at 2800 rpm

let's just be thankful the logs are accurate, otherwise we'd all be fucked.

Streets are not prepped and surfaces vary A LOT. A drag strip is generally uniform and prepped therefore street times to estimate drag times will never be comparable.
