Default GTX3067R (not 76, 67) on E33

Goal was to take the stock block to what I think is a safe power level. Turned out nicely. Mods in signature. 60 degree ambient temperature.

Was the Log done on a slightly up hill near the end. Curious of where your boost ramps up around 5800rpm the HP starts to drop off instead of holding or increasing the HP..Looks like a nice curve though.

Mine does the same thing, power drops off even though boost is ramping up. Seems like stock block flow restriction somewhere.

@Mauro_Penguin

This car has stock unported IM and stock exhaust manifold as well, standard ATP setup. This is an impressive turbo, the 67R GTX wheel really needs the GT30 turbine to breathe.

That's smooth torque. I see you self tuned, how much time did you spend on it/do you have much more room for tuning?

I took some time with tuning... Maybe about a month to the final map. I went through about 15 revisions on the 93 tune and about 6 on the E85 map. I have room for some more timing but in this run my IDC hit 99% and I don't feel comfortable going any further until I get a meth kit. I would also like to make more than 330hp on 93 since I was knock limited.

I would also like to note that I'm basically on the stock catback, minus muffler. 2.5" piping or whatever stock is. I'm actually going to be putting the stock muffler back on.

Did you back off the boost and raise timing then add boost back with the E85 tune or did you leave the boost the same as the 93 map and then add timing?

You can PM me if you want to discuss this in more detail, but whats your timing up top? These little turbos will take a good deal of timing without acting up, so you could effectively lower your boost a tad (to free up some fuel head room) and make up the difference with timing. Though there is always a balance, might require some playing around with it.

I had a guy whose IWG 3071 was creeping to 28 psi, and would max out the fuel system even on 93 ... had to get real creative with his tune a few times to keep everything happy lol. I dont mean to come in and try to take anything from what you've done here though, like i said before, i'd be very happy with that powerband.

I left boost the same for my E85 map, then added timing. My goal was basically the power level I'm at now, and I feel more comfortable pushing boost rather than timing since I don't have access to a real dyno to see where I hit MBT.
