Default My first VDyno runs with a Stratified Stg 3 tune (93 octane)

It was done yesterday and the car was minor heat soaked on the first run and I tuned right around and ran the second run (so more heat). It was 75 degrees outside and a little humid. My modifications are in my signature. I live in WV so the roads are NEVER smooth...

Correction factor needs to be 1.01 and I suggest smoothing 3.

This one is set correction at 1.01 and smoothing back to 1.

I don't think it looks too out of line with my mods though. I hope not. It feels very strong. Traction is an issue...

I just used the weight they had in the 2013 Mazdaspeed profile and of course added my weight. I also changed the tire diameter to the correct one.

That looks really solid man. I'm on an older version of their e85 tune and you're making as much as I am.

you can see my mods, and i just did a datalog and entered it into vdyno, with correct BATs and im right at 315/362, fully bolted and E30 tune. you numbers are strong for 93. looks great!

Wow, thanks. I am actually on the light side on weight in my VDyno profile I am sure, but i went with the numbers they have for the MS3 and my actual weight of 200lbs. I am sure my car weighs a little more (maybe only 25-30lbs though) than a stock MS3 and if I played with that (if I actually weighed my car) the numbers would go up by a couple of hp, Lol. I am not concerned with that though because just like an actual dyno the numbers will vary day to day conditions to conditions. The car is really strong and surprised me. I got the APP files revised and loaded the new 93 tune last night. Feels perfect. I can't wait to try E85.

On a side note, Stratified did not indicate anything unusual on my log review so that made me feel good.

e85 makes a huge difference! i was only 93 tuned for about 3 weeks before i went e85. only things i still would like to do are JBR RSB and CS TMIC

The CS TMIC really helped me I believe. It works like a charm.

Also, ever thought of the Progress rear bar? I went from the JBR, which I could never get the noise out of, to the Progress and it works amazingly.

You need to go into your log and change the throttle position to 75% throughout the pull. Right now, VDyno is doing weird stuff to your logs because it is improperly interpreting the data.

I like progress parts, I'm just afraid it will be way too stiff for DD. How do you think it feels? Are you gen Juan or gen pu?

Gen 2. It is not too stiff at all. I think it balanced the car out perfectly. It is neutral with no understeer and you can induce oversteer if you want, but if you choose not to it stays nice and flat/neutral. It is how the car should have came from the factory.
