Default My Freektune

So I had the day off and decided to swing to the local dyno and see where my tune is at. Pretty happy with with the results. 2nd run was the best and made 300hp/340tq uncorrected and on pump gas(93 octane). Corrected #'s were a little lower due to it being 60 in the shop.

That run with the lower numbers was a tune I was running a couple weeks ago that ran awesome, so between the 2 maps I added roughly 2 degrees of timing.

I feel like the dyno is missing some top end power though. My log on the dyno has wgdc maxed and only 16psi, where on the street my wgdc maxes at about 90% and holds 17+psi.

datalog 75 is on the dyno, and 77 is shortly after I left

Nope, no e-85 near me, and my next mod will be meth, so I am going to rent some dyno time to tune for that.

That's exactly what mine did on the dyno. The wgdc maxes out 100% from 5300 or so on up ad boost drops to 15 psi. Max MAF flow was a good 20g/s lower. Must be hard to get optimal flow on these cars on the dyno

The intercooler may hold you back slightly, but from what i've seen so far is that the gen2's do very well with the stock intercooler. @2011speed has stock intercooler and down pipe and he's still putting down great #'s.

Ya, your generating slightly more boost and flowing about 10g's more for the street log.
How much of that difference would you attribute to the ~20 degree boost air temperature difference between the two (cooler street log)

Cooler air -> easier to make boost.

Some of it is cooler air, but I think some of it has to to with the load on the dyno as opposed to the street. I have been running the same boost curve since the summer time and on the hottest days it would hardly ever hit 100% wgdc.
