Why not?

Most K04's drop off towards redline. I was confused by your graph initially because I thought it was odd that your HP stayed steady by the end of the log, k04's drop off towards redline.

Even so, CF is 1.01 and smoothing 3, so it should be fairly well in line with most of the figures we see, shouldn't it? I haven't used VDyno too much yet, so please enlighten me if there's something I'm overlooking.

Sometimes what looks to be a dead flat road can be anything but. There's a google height data page you can click on any road at different intervals and see if it is decline or incline. I used it on a few roads i thought was flat and ended up with it having a steady incline of 6ft over 500 meters

It looks like the best way to get a more accurate log is to take a log on both direction (forward and return) and average the result.

Meh, it is what it is. Vdyno is never going to be 100% accurate but it's good enough to see coarse differences between maps, for example, the shit OTS maps versus the real deal custom tune. At the end of the day an optimized tune with x level of hardware is always going to generate somewhere in the realm of a certain level of power. When you roll race, usually that's when the hardware differences show up. For example even a catless DP car, otherwise identical hardware, tuned at the same power level, would eek out a win a roll race because the turbo spools slightly faster.

@2010REDMS3; did you set all of the throttle position cells in the csv file to 75 before importing into vdyno? It looks like there's interference from throttle fluctuations in your vdyno, caused by the load system pulling throttle position during turbo spool-up.

I sure didn't I'll try doing that then run it through Vdyno again

Sorry, bud. I don't believe your numbers at all. I plugged your logs into VDyno with the same weight, correction factor, tire size, gearing, and car, and the results were completely different.

Not low at all considering your engine is no longer new and stock exhaust etc is probably around 210-215whp with OEM tune

If you really did just input the data directly into Vdyno, then the only thing I can think of is that your version of VDyno (1.3.1) and mine (1.2.7) are different. I can't seem to download the newer version (the website appears to be down), so I'm not sure how to test that theory.
