Default Bringing Rota Grids back to life

Ok so I picked up this dead set of Rota Grid wheels in Houston for a great price since 1 of the 4 wheels was cracked significantly, but it was repairable. A month later and they're finally on the car and back to life.

Crack was significant, but fortunately was on the inner lip of the wheel.

The crack was cut out from the edge of the wheel and filled by hand.

Post cut after a bunch of passes

About halfway through

Finished...but unfinished. Since it was in the inner lip of the wheel I decided to leave it unfinished for now. But when I go to paint the wheels I might finish it off to look nice.

Update: 1 month later, daily driving, hit potholes hard enough to make my tmps lights blink angrily at me, still holding constant pressure though. I can't complain

17x8's? What backspacing? I've toyed with thought of these from time to time.

I like them but I wish the spokes were more aggressive. They looks fine though and will likely be painting them gold or copper in the future.

Hard to know.
Came from a guy who had em on his Ralleyart Lancer (however you spell it) so he must have been throwing the car around a little.
But odd because it is on the inside lip of the wheel.

Wheel is currently on the rear, sucks though because my apartment complex has 5 speed bumps (fucking concrete ones too) if you try to enter or exit.
