Default Conti Control contact sport

I currently have the Conti extreme contact DWS 06 225/40/18. Will have to bite the bullet and get new shoes soon and wondering if anyone has the Conti Control sport contact? Will prob go with the 235/40/18 since I have XXR 8.5 +35 wheels and the current tires look a little stretched.

Is that something new? Continental Control Contact Sport A/S seems to be the name, but I can’t find them even listed or rated by Tire Rack.

FWIW, Tire Rack has comparison testing of UHP A/S tires. The top tire in that test, which included the DWS 06, was the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+.

The DWS 06 was a little better in snow, but lagged behind for the other three seasons.

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests...y.jsp?ttid=230

Most recently I ran dedicated summer Extreme Performance rubber on the MS3 (sticky almost track compound Yoko AD08R), but am running the A/S 3+ on the 12 second Audi. Very good all season UHP.

The Control contact sport are Discount Tire exclusive. They look to be a good A/S tire. Not good in the snow or exceptional in the dry - just good A/S.
