(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Hey MSF! Found these awesome SSR's with good specs for a great deal. IME, the Hankook v12 evo2 has been an excellent all-season tire for SF, CA but recently found some interesting info on the ADVAN V601. Not only offered at a cheaper price point but is by far a superior performance tire. Sadly I only found a few pictures of my Speed3 sporting the BBS type-CH. Really love this rim, especially with their 'plasma' finish; it took me nearly 10 years to appreciate this design from when I remember its' introduction early '00s. SSR 18x8.5 +42 type-C + ADVAN V601 (new) 245/40 - 42.86 lbs BBS 18x8.0 +38 type-CH + Hankook Evo2 (new) 225/40 - 46.83 lbs Bigger rim and bigger tire with less weight. And I thought the BBS set-up was sporty!!! Enjoy! Last edited by Federighi; 01-05-2020 at 12:25 PM. |

Yes, I personally think the Speed3 looks best as single exit. Not to mention much lighter with better flow for gen2. | |
