(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score So I have 12 Mazdaspeed 3 and I installed a Snow performance part# 212 which is the MAFu controller the other day installation went well no real big issues at the time. Set my voltage to was my tuner suggested to starts and went and drove it home. At this time I havent looked at the trims or maf voltage to see when the controller activates. So I feel it being kinda sluggish and want to possible misfire. I needed gas so I got gas. Cranked up no issues drove 5 minutes home. Got home and checked my reservoir(3qts) it was half full. I thought it was kinda of odd being that low for a 15-20 min ride home with a few pulls. I filled it back up tested all my wires and set the controller to a lower voltage and un hooked it and got a friend to see if it was spraying at that point which it was. So I went out to eat. before I left i got misfire codes and rich code p0172. I cleared them and was checking my trims on the way which about another 15 min ride. Short trim at -25 and BATs at 60-65 degrees all time. So after i ate I checked the reservoir again and was half full. I changed the voltage trigger a little higher around 3 volts. Well when i get home that night. reservoir almost empty and got CELs again this time p0172 p0300 p0304 and p0335. Idk if its a bad controller or something if anyone can help be highly appreciated. Also when I cut power to the system trims come back to normal. I have attached a idle log |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I had a snow kit that did this also, one morning turned the car on and at idle I hear the pump going non stop. Never found out the issue, I just pulled the kit and ditched meth altogether. My guess would be that the controller shit the bed. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score So I had a little time testing today and I think the controller is fine again tested all wires and at idle I pull the tube that goes to the nozzle and nothing is flowing. set the controller to 1.5v and revved it and set my phone to record and yelled everytime i hit my trigger. You find ways to do things by yourself lol. anyways it worked perfect and sprayed at set trigger. So I think and my tuner agrees that the check valve is bad. Which in the new SP systems its the nozzle holder and is a check valve in one. So ima try get RMA for that and see what happens. Or just order a Devils Own serviceable check valve and and go from there. because RMAs take forever. Ill keep ya posted. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Update: Ordered a DO check valve and put is as close to the SP nozzle holder as possible. The solution is it works. I guess the Sp check valve just DOA but at least it was a simple fix. If anyone else has this issue I try what I did first. Hope this helps anyone in the future. |
