(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Maybe down the road. The highs are decent, but they can't keep up with all of that bass. If I do, I will upgrade the Bose amp too.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I was thinking the same thing once I put my sub in but after a few months it sounded blah just really bass heavy. I was going to upgrade the amp but I am doing the doors first. Probably some jbl components of infinity since they match the ohm of the factory speakers.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I am not sure what highs I want to go with. I used to like Boston Acoustics, Focal, and MB Quart in my previous stereos back in the 90's. I'm not sure what's decent anymore. Here's a link to my review of this sub box on Crutchfield. (Same user name) Rockford Fosgate P3-1X12 Punch P3 ported enclosure with 12" sub at Crutchfield.com

| Not Ranked : 0 score there was another speed owner who wrote a review on the sub. sounds like its pretty good. im surprised you said it was better than the sundown sub. i have always wanted to go with a more competition sub just so i can see what its all about but i dont have the means of making a custom box for them.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I know its been a few months since you did the install but where did you run the power wire through? I most likely missed the thread where someone talks about this but i have a DC audio sub that I am dying to install all ready and haven't really found a clear answer. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Behind the glove box, in the firewall, there is a plastic or rubber cap a couple of inches wide. Im assuming this was for the steering column in the left side drive models. Pop it out, drill a hole, grommet if you want, and run wire down pass. Side door molding. There is a writeup on here with pictures somewhere |

| Not Ranked : 0 score No prob. Listen to this guy about the PAC AOEM2 loc. Its the only way to go, I tried multiple options before i got that and was never happy with the output. Bose or not, use that PAC AOEM2 loc. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score It looks like there are only 4 outputs on the loc, what do you do if you want to run an amp on the door speakers and a sub? |

| Not Ranked : 0 score You use one set of outputs for the sub amp and the other pair of outputs for the speaker amp. It tells you on the loc which output is for front and rear. |
