| Not Ranked : 0 score Speakers watts doesn't mean anything but have you checked speaker impedance (ohms) ? If you got lower resistance value it can load the unit and make it fall in protect or blow up. Just a lower impedance would take some time to make it fall in protect so i would check again the wiring you made to make sure the wires aren't touching toghether or any of them touch the car chassis....head unit internal amp isn't isolated from chassis ground....
