Default Speakers Work For A Few Seconds, Then Turn Off?

Hello. Today I installed a set of Rockford Fosgate speakers in the two front doors. I wired them up correctly with the adapters and everything worked fine for the following 2 hours I was driving around. After I turned off the car , i came back only to find the speakers didnt turn on. I found out that when I start the car, the speakers work for about 2 or 3 seconds, then stop working. Does anyone know the possible issue? I have a stock head unit and the speakers are 55 watts each. Rear speakers are still stock. Thanks!

Speakers watts doesn't mean anything but have you checked speaker impedance (ohms) ?

If you got lower resistance value it can load the unit and make it fall in protect or blow up.

Just a lower impedance would take some time to make it fall in protect so i would check again the wiring you made to make sure the wires aren't touching toghether or any of them touch the car chassis....head unit internal amp isn't isolated from chassis ground....
