| Not Ranked : 0 score The only bolts that need threadlocker are the flywheel bolts, but it's already on them when you buy new oem bolts.

| Not Ranked : 0 score This is God sent. I'm about to start a teardown and rebuild and this is exactly what I need. Anyway you have engine clearance specs as well? I am going to be running supertech rods and supertech pistons and running a bnr stage 3 with a boost goal of 25 PSI, so I'll spec out how much ring-gap I need to avoid butting. I'm more worried about PTW clearances. It will be bored to 88MM and 4032 alloy pistons and I'm trying to avoid piston-slap. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Clearances will depend on piston design, the expansion ratio of the material, and how you intend to operate the vehicle. I emailed Manley with my details and they told me what clearances I should run.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I'm also thinking of running 88mm pistons. You're not having any problems with heat soaking the cylinder walls due to there being a bigger bore? |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Its been a while since I've checked my cylinder wall temperature sensor, but thinner cylinder walls should transfer heat faster to the coolant. Additionally, a larger bore increases the surface area in which to distibute the heat.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I'm more concerned about knock being caused be the additional heat within the cylinder head. The walls act as a heat sink so when you bore the engine, you are effectively decreasing that heat sinks ability to absorb cylinder heat. I can upgrade the coolant system with ducting and silicone hoses so not to overwork the coolant. Idk man, I'm just bouncing shit off now lol. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score With less material to be a heatsink, it is likely the cylinder walls heat up faster, but the same goes for the coolant's ability to pull the heat away. This might not equate, but if you're too hot in the winter, wear a thinner coat.
