(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Hi All! abit of a noob to the mazdaspeed forum. long story short, my other halfs gen2 has a weird fuel pressure drop in the 3k RPM range (as per the attached) MODS: bnrs3, JBR intake 3" i believe, CP-E Tmic, Auto tech HPFP internals, Cobb 3port bcs,ATP decat downpipe (long) tuned by Justin. car had been tuned a while ago so thought i'd get a log to check things over. nothing has been changed on the from when it was tuned etc. Checked/changed -HPFP Pump -HPFP internals -HPFP spill valve (twice) -Rail Relief Valve (twice) -Re-Flashed ECU (current tune) -Re-Flashed ECU (previous tune) -Fuel Rail Pressure sensor (twice) -Low pressure in tank pump & sender -Fuel Pump resister -Fuel pump relay -Primary 02 sensor -Purge Valve solenoid -fuel filters -inspected fuel injector seals -inspected fuel injector o rings -replaced complete fuel rail with new pressure sensor and relief valve -checked injector resistance (1.1ohm) -checked purge valve with oscilloscope -checked HO2S with oscilloscope -checked injectors with oscilloscope -checked fuel tank pressure -visually inspected charcoal canister (can’t perform test with out mazda computer) -checked fuel cap is sealing -replaced fuel feed to hpfp -replaced fuel return pipe from relief valve to hpfp. -replaced HPFP hardline -replaced wiring loom -remover turbo and re-tapped snapped stud. -replaced DP due to 02 sensor seating poorly. -Repaired a few damaged wires from the intake clamp rubbing through. Really at a loss with this one, feel somewhat defeated and the Mrs is considering selling up! My apolologies if this is in the worng section!! |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Yes, i swapped out the internals twice using a different pump housing and spill valve each time. i tested the intank pump as per the workshop manual for electrical issues, i then swapped it out for a known good one (off my own car) |
