HPFP internal question???

am needing to get the autotech internals by the sound of everyone on the forum but i had a question. do i need to tune anything after the install? or are the internals just providing a more steady higher flow of gas

Do you NEED a tune afterwards? Probably not. BUT a tune is going to allow you to take advantage of that extra fuel pressure. I would say its well worth it (even without preformance gains) just because you will have a much more stable and safer running car. If you like your car and want the best advice, then as suggested I would donate (first thing I did) as you will find this forum will offer ALOT more (people will help you out alot easier, this first one is free). We ask people to donate to better our forum (I say our forum becuase it is that, we take care of eachother. Raffles for good parts, information you would otherwise pay ALOT more for, and vendors listening to what we want/need because well were the best mazdaspeed forum and they know that) Most importantly if youre just going to be a freeloading brownie, read your ass off. Like others have said - you don't need a tune. But it's a good idea to get an AP so you can monitor the fuel pressure to ensure you did the install correctly.

Fuel pump internals and an AP is all you need to get started Mind what others have told you. Save your car, it can.

Internals are a mechanicle thing. Putting them in doesnt make your pressure higher/lower it just makes it able to keep up with whatever demand you put on the fueling system.
