Default P0096 - Boost air temperature sensor circuit range/performance problem

Has anyone ever seen this code before? I first saw it two nights ago when I started my car after work and it was -6 out. I thought maybe it was just due to the cold temp, so I went home and cleared the code. It was fine the next day until I went to start my car after work last night when it was 0 out and the code came back. I see in the service manual it says the code is only thrown when the ignition has been off for 6+ hours and the other conditions are met. I did try leaving the car sit in my garage last night and the code was still there this morning. I cleared it again but I am guessing it will come back when I start it up after work again.

Mods are in my sig, I have not done any work recently to the car. I'm just wondering if anyone has had this and where to start. I did notice the MAF seems to be one of the sensors the manual mentions, so I'm wondering if MAF cleaner might fix it? Thanks for the help.

Edit: if anyone else ever has this code, it ended up being a bad MAP (NOT MAF) sensor
