post BT install communication problems

So yesterday we did BT install on my 2012 MS3. it starts up and runs fine but im throwing P0403, U0121 and U2023 and I have absolutely NO power steering. I took it around the block to see if all of these warning lights would turn off but no luck; also when going into any sort of boost it feels like i'm bouncing off a rev limiter I don't really know how to explain it. We have checked all of the grounds and wiring harnesses and also tried running the stock MAP sensor with no luck. I'm completely stumped.

Have you retried clearing the codes?

When they come back, try unpairing the AP, and then reinstalling it over again.

alright, after dealing with this for a couple days and having a set of fresh eyes on the car, we still have no luck.

here is a run down of the problems:

Car drives, runs, bla bla

Speedo doesn't work, ABS light is on as well as the same U codes, power steering doesn't work.

we've traced the ecu harness, checked fuses, checked the power steering pump, checked all grounds and still no luck. we've also installed and uninstalled the AP. can anyone provide some insight?

Is the battery good, and are your battery connections tight?

Edit: @timjs is usually pretty good at this stuff.

Yes. Also it's like the car is in permanent limp mode. Swas is permanently on and car will bounce the rev around 3400rpm

Make sure all the pins on ecu are clean and pointing straight, both on plug side n ecu side

P0403:00 EGR valve (stepper motor) circuit malfunction

U0121:00 Communication error to DSC HU/CM (network codes can read different descriptions, depending which module they are pulled from)

U2023 Signal error from PCM

All of these set at the same time?
All of them indicate a possible open circuit. Probably a connector where all of these circuits pass through. I really think you need to go over every single section of that harness.

Maybe focus on the speedo. It gets vehicle speed information from the DSCHU (the ABS module).
Find THAT open circuit, and you'll probably find them all. Make sure the abs module is fully plugged in. Disconnect it, inspect the pins with a bright flashlight, and reinstall it. The connector should have a little slide latch type of mechanism to it, make sure it's fully seated.

Did anybody do any wiring or possibly knick a wire with a screwdriver or a set of pliers? If I were you I would unwrap the tape on the ecu harness and look for burns and frays

Hmm I had this problem before I forgot to plug in the map sensor in but I still had power steering.
Also had a couple of NA mazda3 which had this codes and have a bad abs module too.
what you should do is double check over your work and then friendly mod dealer
let them look at it. Your are cover under warranty still.
Diagnose a can network system is a pain of the ass lol..

Just make sure that the two connectors at the hpfp are connected good and tight, and also check the connector in front of the intake manifold to and make sure it is nice tight, and double check all your ground that you would of taken off when doing this install, and also make sure your batter ground is nice and secure to, I have seen tons of communication errors caused by a loose or damaged battery ground cable.

The P code is for your egr the other two is for abs and your ehps, check your 80amp fuse for that and there is a 7.5 amp for the abs ig check that to and double tripple check all your grounds
