(Thread Starter) | Mazdaspeed Forums Goals & Future How did MSF.ORG get directly linked onto Wikipedia, but no other mazda forum is there? This wasn't something that happened by mistake, i assure you. I have taken all of the issues, lacking voids, and put them in one site. I cannot help who sends me what. Only the peer pressure by the community can direct the companies who make products for us, to send it in for review. Community members can still write their own reviews and place them in the appropriate sections of this board for users. We're a 100% run community. The content created, is created by YOU. Are you aware how bad i slammed Cobb for the AP launch? The guys at Cobb can remember the emails and PMs i fired off to them. i was not happy about it and i wanted to do something about it. Cobb saw exactly what i was trying to create and jumped on it. You can't fault them and you can't fault me. There is nothing more kickass than taking a big company like Cobb, getting them completely interactive with the owners of the market they support and have them create/support products you want/own. We have been up 4 months and how long have other forums been online? Do they have this resource? No, they do not. I created it! It's only going to get better! I get products from them before they go out for sale. They use this as their marketing and whether you like this approach or not, i'm going to take them up on what they offer me, even if was company A-Z. It's my portfolio that allows me to get to that next step and provide you even better things for this site in the future. We are looking ahead of the Mazdaspeed 3 & 6. There are other Speeds coming out in the future that WE need to support. If you think Cobb likes me finding flaws in their products, you are completely wrong. Infact, Cobb has done some realignment in their company this week to STOP these quality control issues from ever getting out the door. This shouldn't be happening and they understand that. What other forum has ever had an impact on a company's QA like us in the Mazda community? Im proud to have this impact and it's about damn time we can control the Mazda market like this. I want products from Cpe to review, dissect, and promote. I want products from every Company out there who makes stuff for the Speed market. We are also getting some MS6 stuff out the door. Not everyone can install their own stuff, but what if they can see a video of the install that shows them, its really not to difficult? That's where im headed... RESOURCES! Our staff will be providing these same resources, just not me. This is what is making designing a front end for the site so difficult. We are on our, 5th revision on the front end system. I need an EASY article creation system for staff to write reviews, provide pictures, media links, etc. We are a new site, we have issues we have to iron out. I can say we have done a better job than any other Mazda forum out there. Can we do a better job? Yes, absolutely and we will. We have the BEST community members and probably the most intelligent, educated, well versed members of the entire Mazda community, assembled, in one place. That cannot be argued. We need to put this behind us, learn from it, and move forward. We all need each others help to do this and i hope, we get the support from the entire community to make this happen. Thank you and i appreciate it.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I WHOLE HEARTEDLY 2ND THAT!!! I too started checkin out this "fourms" about 3 months ago and the others were very well attended but have any of ya'll gone to them lately? It's comical!! One or two posts a day! I have been informed, educated, & entertained since my first viewing here. The combining of the Speed3 & 6 sections was a great idea. As a LONGTERM road racer with instructor status with Ferrari, Porsche, & BMW clubs and an AMA superbike license I have more then my fair share of motorsports backround. My speed6 EATS STI's and EVO's for breakfast on ANY roadcourse but maybe that has more to do with those drivers then sheer hp's. And other then breathing & cooling mods it's STOCK! I have shown my support with donations which will continue as that is the BEST way I can show my satisfaction with Haltech's efforts. Please, PLEASE kept this going and continue moving forward which is what sets this forum apart form the rest. |
