I don't know how I missed this earlier, but I just read through everything. I have to say, the way everything came together and all the people being helped by this is truly outstanding. Glad you guys got the t shirts! sorry for the delay but my is going thrugh some health issues! I have to say first off, that I am proud of what took place, with this. Your generosity went a long way and the CJWCC is very appreciative of your gift! Jamie, my wife and I did a check presentation on the starting grid of the Conti Race @ Road America.

Guys, it saddens me to tell you all this. Anthony lost his fight to stage 4 tongue cancer yesterday.

He will be missed in our group and Mazdaspeed Pittsburgh family.

I just wanted you all to know how happy he was we were able to surprise him with some car parts to take his mind off his situation.

I'm typically at a loss for words at moments like this. There are a lot of thing you want to say, it's always hard to put it into words. I didn't know the guy personally but, if he is anything like the locals here, we are all at a loss. Just take a moment to remember him how he was and know that he had some really kick ass people around him to enjoy his time on this rock. It's unfortunate to lose someone so early on in life but, Alot of people live a long time and never know what true friendship is or means. In my eyes, he is lucky in a way. Rest in peace.

Several goodbyes posted to his Facebook this morning...and nothing from him, but another member was able to reach out to his family.

He was moved to home to rest there with hospice care. He is on a morphine drip. We were told his kidneys are failing.

That's all I know.

Thats awful. My mom used to be a Hospice Nurse. I'm a Lead Biomed in Dialysis. With his kidneys failing, Anthony will be on Dialysis very soon. Thats gonna wear him out physically.

Alright guys, I don't want to make this an emotional roller coaster. But Anthony passed away a little bit ago. He and his family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I know the Mazdaspeed Pittsburgh guys are working on vinyi for him. I have asked for vinyl and will get the Mazda teams to place on their cars @ Lime Rock Park MOCO Corral and the Mazdas in the Park Meet. So alot of Ohio and PA guys will be reppin the vinyl as well.
